Please join us for an Amazonian Guayusa Tea Ceremony led by Timo Gualinga of Samary Adventures with translation by Chelsea Hirsch and a morning camp fire and sound session by Alexis Holland. Timo Gualinga, native Kichwa of the Ecuadorian Amazon, will be leading a Guayusa tea ceremony followed by face painting with native Kichwa designs. Timo will share about Kichwa culture and how Guayusa is used daily and also share the legend of Weetuk & Achote (the black and red seeds used for face paint in the Amazon of Ecuador). During the tea ceremony, Alexis Holland will share her sacred sounds with the group and ease us into the day with a morning sound session.
This event will be free to all.
